Q & A with Client Relations Manager, Lorene Wilson

Lorene Wilson joined Moore Legacy Law not a moment too soon, in early 2021. She has been indispensable ever since. Lorene’s background includes more than 35 years of providing corporations and non-profits with administrative expertise, including 3+ years in the estate planning field.

At Moore Legacy Law, Lorene is dedicated to helping our attorneys provide the very best client experience from beginning to end. She communicates with clients, prepares documents, provides notary services, and makes sure the estate planning “pipeline” runs efficiently and smoothly.

Q. What do you appreciate most about Moore Legacy Law?

A. I know the team truly cares about every client and wants to provide them with the very best support. Curtis and Dan are great listeners and trusted partners in the lives of their clients. Customer service, integrity, and trust are top priorities at the firm, which I appreciate and admire in any business.

Q. For clients, what do you think is the biggest benefit of working with MLL?

A. We are a trusted partner that will listen to all their concerns, challenges, and wishes, then provide a personalized estate plan.

Q. Why is your work at MLL important to you?

A. What I’m assisting with is extremely important to the clients we’re helping. It gives them a lot of peace of mind, which brings me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction as well.

Q. What will you always try to do for MLL clients? Avoid doing?

A. I will always strive to treat them with the utmost respect, giving personalized attention to every client. I will never see them as a project to hurry through the process.

Q. What have been some of your proudest professional achievements?

A. My greatest sense of achievement is when I know I have helped make someone’s life easier. I love serving people in general. It always brings me great joy!

Q. How did you get into this line of work? What keeps you in it?

A. My first secretarial job was in college. I completed a two-year degree in office administration, then got hired by Georgia-Pacific corporation in downtown Atlanta. I like to handle details so others can focus on what they are passionate about. These are the things I truly enjoy doing so it doesn’t feel like work to me.

Q. What do you love about your local community?

A. I live at Weatherby Lake and love it! It’s a beautiful and serene place. It’s also a tight knit community where people truly care and look out for each other. There is built in trust and respect that you won’t find many places. It’s not just a neighborhood, but a true community.

Q. What are you passionate about outside of work?

A. I love serving in my local community as a board member of the Women of Weatherby group. I also love learning about and ministering in other cultures and traveling overseas. I’ve been to over 30 countries with my husband. We have co-authored three books together.
