Welcome Dan Stuart, our newest attorney, to help demystify estate planning
Dan Stuart and Curtis Moore have dreamed of working together since they shared a tiny, closet-sized office at UMKC School of Law 10+ years ago. A decade later, it’s finally (and already) happening.
In October 2021, Dan became Moore Legacy Law’s third attorney and the first non-Moore.
Dan’s experience includes clerking for a Missouri Appellate Court judge, working at a giant law firm, and providing in-house counsel at a large bank.

Dan brings extensive knowledge of finance and banking law as well as a deep understanding of the issues that arise in estate controversy cases and how to avoid those issues through planning.
Curtis attests, “Dan possesses the intellect and capacity to master incredibly technical components of law, but he is able to explain and counsel in an approachable, understandable way.”
Dan will open the Liberty office of MLL in 2022. Like Jim (Lebanon) and Curtis (Parkville), Dan aims to remove the estate planning intimidation factor and make it easy for local community members to protect their loved ones.
